Advice & consultation
It can sometimes be helpful to seek external advice on safeguarding cases and systems. Cleo has worked in statuary children’s services, voluntary and specialist services. This has been in roles in which she has overseen cases, developed and/or refined systems to support safeguarding practice and culture change. Cleo can offer consultancy services that include :
- Case reviews on individuals’ cases
- Critical peer – reviewing safeguarding systems
- Telephone advice and consultant – for an agreed number of hours per month/term
- Attending professional meeting (with consent)
- Attending meeting with families
As part of her social work and systemic practice, she can support organisations to safely hold risk, and work as part of muiti agency network. Cleo adds the skill of applying therapeutic thinking using a systemic perspective to safeguarding.
